2 lb. red potatoes, sliced 1/2-inch thick 1/3 c. vegetable oil 1 envelope dry onion soup mix Wash and slice potatoes; place in large plastic bag. Add oil and soup mix. Seal and shake until all potatoes are coated. Empty bag into 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Cover with lid or foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and bake 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. This dish can also be cooked in microwave in about 15 minutes.
