1 c. self-rising corn meal 1 egg 1/2 c. buttermilk 1/4 c. water 2 Tbsp. oil corn meal Use an iron skillet; put in oil. Sprinkle with corn meal (about 1 teaspoon). Do not burn corn meal. This keeps it from sticking. Mix bread ingredients and pour into hot skillet. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook until golden brown, approximately 20 minutes.
