13 oz. bag vanilla wafers 2 c. chopped pecans 1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped 5 oz. golden raisins 2 eggs 1/2 c. white sugar 1 small can evaporated milk 1/4 tsp. salt Crush vanilla wafers and put in large bowl. Add chopped cherries, pineapple, pecans and raisins. Mix and set aside. In another bowl, beat eggs, sugar, milk and salt together. Pour over mixture and mix well with hands. Press into greased and paper-lined loaf pan; press firmly with hand. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Cool 15 minutes before removing. Best fruit cake ever!
