3 c. frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and drained 1/2 stick butter 3 beaten eggs 1 c. half and half cream 3/4 c. cooked diced ham 1/2 c. finely chopped green onions 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese salt and pepper to taste Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Gently press hash browns between paper towels; get as much water out as possible. Using a 9-inch deep pie plate or a square baking dish. Toss hash browns and melted butter and put in pie plate or baking dish. Press hash browns in bottom and up sides to form a crust. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Mix remaining ingredients; pour into baked hash brown crust. Put back in oven and bake 30 minutes or until quiche is lightly golden brown on top.
