1 c. uncooked grits 1 medium onion, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 1 lb. bulk sausage 2 c. shredded cheese (sharp Cheddar) Cook grits as directed on package. Cook bell pepper, onion and sausage in a skillet. Do not brown. Drain. Mix grits, cheese and drained mixture. Pour into greased 2-quart casserole dish. Bake in a 325 degrees oven for 25 minutes, until cheese is melted. Serve with scrambled eggs and hot biscuits.
