2 lb. halibut steaks 1 tsp. salt 2Tbsp. butter 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained 1 c. sour cream 1/4 c. sherry wine Paprika Place halibut steaks in buttered shallow dish. Sprinkle with salt. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt butter in saucepan and saute mushrooms till golden brown. Remove from heat and add sour cream and wine. Pour sauce over fish; sprinkle with paprika. Return to oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Serves 4 to 6. Can add sliced toasted almonds and small shrimp as a garnish.
