1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Bake cake mix according to package directions in a 9x13 inch pan.
Bring pineapple and sugar to a boil; cook to dissolve sugar. When
cake is baked, poke holes in it with a drinking straw. Pour
pineapple mixture over cake.
Prepare pudding mix according to directions. Spread over cold cake.
Top with Cool Whip.
