2-1/2 c. flour 1-1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. soft shortening 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1/4 c. evaporated milk Sift together onto a piece of paper the flour, soda and salt. Mix the peanut butter, shortening and sugars till fluffy. Add about 1/3 of the flour mixture at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in the eggs and milk. Chill dough about 10 minutes or till firm enough to handle. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Press flat with a floured fork. Bake 10 minutes or till light brown in a 375 degrees oven. Makes about 6 dozen.
