First layer: 3 ounces little red hearts candy 1 c. hot water 1 small pkg. lemon gelatin 1 1/2 c. applesauce Center: 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1/2 c. celery, chopped fine 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 c. mayonnaise Dissolve red hearts in hot water. Add lemon gelatin, stir until dissolved. Add applesauce. Put half of mixture in ring mold or bowl and chill until firm. Set balance of mixture aside. Center: Mix center ingredients well, spoon on top of chilled mixture,then add balance of first mixture on top. Chill.
