2 slices of bacon 1/2 lb. pork sausage links, cut into 1/2 inch pieces 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. milk 3 beaten eggs Cook bacon till crisp; drain, set aside 2 tablespoons drippings. Crumble bacon; set aside. In same skillet, brown sausage; drain off fat. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add milk and eggs; beat until smooth. Spread reserved bacon drippings in 10x6x2 inch baking dish. Place sausages in pan. Sprinkle with bacon pieces. Pour batter over all. Bake, uncovered at 40` till set, 30 to 35 minutes.
