2 Tbsp. butter 1/2 c. sliced celery 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 1 (7 to 8 oz.) pkg. macaroni, cooked and drained 2 c. cooked, chopped ham 3 Tbsp. dry mushroom-gravy mix 2 c. cottage cheese 1/2 c. dairy sour cream 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese In a 1 quart saucepan, melt butter; saute celery, onion and green pepper. In a large bowl, toss together sauteed vegetables, macaroni, ham, gravy mix, cottage cheese and sour cream just until combined. Turn into a 2 quart casserole. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees, 30 to 35 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over casserole and return to oven 2 to 3 minutes, or until cheese melts. Serves 6 to 8. Variation: One 12 ounce can of luncheon meat, chopped, may be substituted for the ham.
