8 to 10 slices of bread
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 c. milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 c. crab or shrimp
1 green pepper chopped
1 c. chopped celery
Grated Cheddar cheese
Cube 4 slices of bread, crusts on. Place in single layer in bottom
of casserole. Mix crab (or shrimp) with mayonnaise, pepper, onion
and celery; spread over bread cubes. Trim crusts from remaining
bread to cover crab mixture. Beat eggs and milk; pour over. It
should almost cover; if not,add 1 more egg and 3/4 cup of milk.
Refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 15
minutes. Spread soup over top, then cheese and paprika. Bake at
least 1 hour or until set. Serves 12
