1 pt. fresh sliced strawberries, sprinkled with 3/4 c. sugar 2 egg whites 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 c. whipping cream Vanilla to taste Baked pie shell Chill sugared strawberries for 30 minutes. In a large mixer bowl, beat berries, sugar, egg whites and lemon juice, and salt for 15 minutes, or until mixture is stiff and holds its shape. Whip cream until stiff and add vanilla. Fold into strawberry mixture. Pile lightly into pie shell and freeze overnight or for several hours.
