1/4 c. butter
4 c. blackberries
2 c. sugar
1-1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in baking dish. Add 1 c. of the
sugar to the blackberries, stirring gently. Mix rest of sugar,
flour, baking powder and milk. Pour over the melted butter, not
stirring. Spread berries evenly over the batter. Bake 40/45
minutes. Berries will sink. A double recipe will go into a 9x13 pan.
