ZESTY ZUCCHINI DIP

2 c. pared and diced zucchini
(2 medium)
1 Tbsp. chopped green onion
1/2 c. tomato juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. basil
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese,
cubed
2 slices bacon, crisp cooked,
drained and crumbled

Combine all ingredients except cheese and bacon. Simmer
for 20 minutes. Put in blender; add cheese. Blend on high
speed. Chill. Stir in bacon. Makes 2 cups dip.
