CHEESE AND BACON (HAM) PUFFS

8 slices bacon
8 slices bread
8 slices American cheese
3 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. paprika

Night before: Brown 8 slices bacon until crisp. Make 4
sandwiches using bacon, 8 slices bread (trim crusts) and 8
slices American cheese (put bacon between 2 slices of cheese).
Cut sandwiches in half diagonally and arrange in buttered
baking dish, slightly overlapping. Mix eggs, milk, salt,
pepper and paprika. Pour egg mixture over sandwiches. Cover
tightly. Refrigerate overnight. In the morning, bake at 350 degrees
for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffed and golden.
