BACON WRAPPED CRACKERS

bacon slices, cut in half
Waverly crackers

Cut bacon slices in half and wrap around a Waverly
cracker. (Only Waverly crackers.) Place on a rack in a broiler
pan, so as to catch the grease. Cook at 250 degrees for about one
hour or until bacon is cooked. These will get real crisp and
are great.
This is especially delicious for a morning party or a
brunch, but I don't recommend them for a large crowd as they
have to be cooked slowly and they take up the whole oven. They
can be prepared early and frozen until needed.
