GRINGO NACHOS

Old El Paso nacho chips
grated Monterey Jack cheese
grated Cheddar cheese
1 lb. ground beef
1 large can refried beans
1 jar salsa
1 jar jalapenos, pickled and
sliced
1 onion
olives (optional)
sour cream (optional)

Fry ground beef, mixing onion with it after fat has been
drained off. Mix refried beans, ground beef and onion, add
salsa in a saucepan and cook until heated through. Arrange
nachos in a baking dish, size preference your own, and top with
the ground beef mixture and the combination grated cheese mix.
Top with jalapenos, olives and sour cream. This can be layered
for more nachos. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, just to
melt cheese thoroughly. This can also be done on a plate in
the microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes. Leftover hamburger
mixture and cheese can be frozen (separately).
