3 c. sugar
1 c. Karo (Red Label)
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine Karo, water, sugar and salt. Boil until a
little tried in cold water is brittle. While sugar mixture is
boiling, start to beat whites of eggs, and do so until stiff.
At brittle stage, begin to pour sugar mixture into egg whites
and beat until mixture begins to stiffen and holds shape. Add
vanilla and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on buttered waxed paper.
