AMANDA'S CHICKEN AND RICE|
1 frying chicken, cut up
1 c. uncooked rice
2 c. chicken broth
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 can mushrooms
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Spread rice on bottom of baking dish. Put water chest-
nuts and mushrooms on top of rice. Sprinkle onion soup mix
over mushrooms and water chestnuts. Pour chicken broth in
baking bowl. Put chicken (skin side up) in the baking dish.
Put cream of mushroom soup on top of chicken. Cook in a 350 degrees
oven for 1 1/2 hours.
