1/2 pt. chocolate ice cream
12 to 16 large chocolate
cookies

Empty ice cream into a bowl. With a spoon, stir ice
cream until it softens just a little. With butter knife,
spread softened ice cream on a cookie. Cover it quickly with
another cookie. Wrap the ice cream sandwich in aluminum foil
and pop into freezer. Freeze for at least 24 hours.
