Combine all of the ingredients. Save the bacon grease
(about 4 to 5 tablespoons) and add 1 tablespoon vinegar; heat
and pour over salad mixture (just enough to coat leaves).
Slice some hard-boiled eggs and place on top of salad. Salt
and pepper to taste.
