BETTY'S POTATO AND HAM SOUP|
4 Tbsp. oleo
1 small onion
1 rib celery, sauteed
4 c. cubed potatoes
6 c. water
1 c. chicken broth or 1 Tbsp.
instant chicken bouillon
2 c. chopped ham
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Accent
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1 or 1 1/2 c. milk
6 Tbsp. instant potato flakes
In large pot combine all ingredients except milk and
potato flakes. Simmer until potatoes are soft, about 1 hour.
Then add milk and potato flakes. Stir to thicken. Serve with
dollop of sour cream.
