CANDIED SWEET POTATOES

6 medium size sweet potatoes
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown
sugar
3 Tbsp. water
3 Tbsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. butter

Boil potatoes until tender; drain. Cool and peel.
Halve and arrange in shallow dish. Combine sugar, water and
cinnamon in small pan. Boil. Cook until sugar dissolves. Add
butter. Blend. Pour over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15
minutes. Makes 6 servings.
