FRENCH ONION SOUP

6 large onions
1 stick butter
12 beef bouillon cubes
8 c. boiling water
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
croutons (optional)
sliced Mozzarella cheese
(optional)
sliced Swiss cheese (optional)

Slice onions. Saute onions in butter until golden. In
crock-pot put 8 cups of boiling water, the bouillon cubes and
Worcestershire sauce. Add the sauteed onions. Cook in crock- 
pot 4 to 6 hours on setting No. 2. Spoon into individual
bowls; add some croutons and alternate 2 layers each of Swiss
and Mozzarella cheese. Put under broiler for another minute.
Serve.
