MELT-IN-YOUR-MOUTH CUBE STEAK AND GRAVY|
6 to 8 pieces cube steak
salt and pepper
Preheat frypan with enough Crisco to cover bottom. Roll
cube steak in flour and fry. Add salt and pepper. Cook until
brown on each side, until half done. Do not overcook. Remove
from pan and place into large baking dish. Into drippings, add
flour, salt and pepper to make gravy base. When mixture is
very brown, add equal amounts of milk and water, making thin
gravy. Pour over cube steak. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
