1 (4 oz.) pkg. dried beef
2 c. milk
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. butter
4 slices toast
salt and pepper

Tear beef into small pieces with fingers. Melt butter
in a saucepan. Mix in flour and pour in milk. Stir over
medium heat until thick and bubbly. Stir in beef. Let heat
for 3 more minutes and serve over toast. Salt and pepper to
taste. Serves 4.
