CHILI COLORADO AND RICE

1 large round steak
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1 bell pepper, chopped fine
1 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
rice

Cut round steak into small cubes, trimming off all fat.
Brown meat in oil, then add onions, green pepper and chili
powder. Stir, cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and water. Cover and simmer another 30
minutes. If mixture is too thin, thicken with cornstarch.
(Mix cornstarch in a half cup of water.) Serve over rice.
Serves 6.
