OVEN BAKED FRENCH TOAST|
1 stick oleo
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
12 slices bread
1 1/2 c. milk
Melt oleo in 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon
and pat into pan. Lay 6 slices of bread over mixture and 6
more slices over other bread. Beat salt, eggs and milk and
pour over all. Cover and stand overnight in refrigerator.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
Note: Bake uncovered. To serve, using spatula, flip
upside down onto serving plate. The brown sugar is now the
topping. No syrup, etc. is needed.
