SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS

1 jar (32 oz.) Prego spaghetti
sauce
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 medium clove garlic, minced
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 pkg. spaghetti (16 oz.)
grated Parmesan cheese
1 c. fresh bread crumbs
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. salad oil

In large bowl mix 1/4 cup Prego sauce, ground beef,
bread crumbs, egg, onion, cheese, garlic and pepper. Shape
firmly into 1-inch balls (about 24). In large skillet medium
heat, in hot oil, cook meatballs until browned; spoon off fat.
Add remaining Prego sauce; reduce heat to low. Cover, simmer
20 minutes or until meatballs are done, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile prepare spaghetti according to package directions.
Drain. Arrange hot cooked spaghetti on serving platter. Serve
meatballs and sauce over spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan
cheese. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
