MOM'S FANCY AU GRATIN POTATOES

6 medium potatoes, boiled in
skins
1/4 c. melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/4 c. green onion
1 c. mild Cheddar cheese,
grated
2 c. cornflakes, crushed
2 Tbsp. melted butter

Boil potatoes and peel. Blend 1/4 cup butter, soup,
sour cream, onion and cheese. Add salt and pepper. Grate
peeled potatoes and put in buttered casserole (not too deep).
Poke holes in potatoes and pour sauce over. Crush cornflakes
and mix with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle on top.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.
