BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE

2 c. uncooked macaroni
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/8 tsp. black pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. paprika

Boil macaroni in salted water until tender (approximate-
ly 10 to 15 minutes). While macaroni is cooking prepare cheese
sauce by: melt margarine, add flour and mix well. Add milk
slowly, stirring until smooth. Add cheese, salt, pepper and
paprika. Heat to boiling and boil gently for 1 minute. Drain
macaroni and put into a buttered baking dish. Pour in cheese
sauce and stir to mix thoroughly. Sprinkle additional cheese
on top. Add thin layer of bread crumbs. Bake at 375 degrees for 20
minutes or until golden brown.
