1/4 c. oil
1 or 2 cloves garlic
1 can tomatoes, chopped or 1
can tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste
white wine (optional)
Heat oil in large pan and saute cloves of garlic.
Remove garlic and add tomatoes or tomato sauce. Add season-
ings. Cook for about 10 minutes and then drop in mussels. Cook
until shells open up. If desired, add some white wine. You may
