QUICK BEEF PIE|
1 medium onion
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can condensed tomato soup
2 c. drained cooked or canned
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. prepared mashed
Chop onion. Crumble beef into large pan. Add onion and
salt and pepper. Cook until browned. Drain off excess fat.
Add soup, green beans and pepper. Cook slowly for 5 minutes.
Pour into greased baking pan. Put prepared mashed potatoes on
top of meat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 6
servings, about 1 cup each.
