CHICKEN CORDON BLEU

8 boneless chicken breasts
8 slices boiled ham or ham
(Virginia)
8 slices Mozzarella cheese
3 beaten egg
plain bread crumbs
8 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. white wine

Flatten chicken breasts with mallet. Place a slice of
ham and a slice of cheese on breast and roll tightly. Secure
with toothpicks. Dip chicken rolls in beaten egg; then roll in
bread crumbs. Place chicken seam side down in a greased baking
dish. Place a pat of butter on each breast. Bake in preheated
350 degrees oven for 30 minutes. Add wine and continue to bake,
basting every 15 minutes. Bake 35 to 45 minutes more.
