BAKED CHICKEN WITH MUSHROOM SAUCE

6 to 8 pieces chicken
1/2 to 3/4 stick butter or
margarine
2 to 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 small onion, chopped
1 c. cream of mushroom soup
salt to taste

Place chicken in baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice
and salt. Add onion and butter, cut into small pieces. Cover
and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Pour the liquid from the baked chicken into a bowl. Add
the mushroom soup. Stir until well mixed. Pour the sauce back
over the chicken. Cover and bake another 1/2 hour. Serve with
rice.
