4 pork chops
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 diced onion
1/3 c. diced green pepper
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
water if needed
sugar if desired

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Place in large
skillet with oil and brown each side of chops. Add onions,
peppers and tomatoes. Cover and steam until meat is tender.
If juice boils out, water may be added to keep mixture from
burning. A little sugar may be added when mixture is done, not
enough to make it sweet, just to kill some of the acid taste.
