TURKEY TACOS

3 Tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 lb. turkey or chicken
2/3 c. taco sauce
12 taco shells
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
1 tomato, chopped
1 c. shredded lettuce
taco sauce (optional)

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In 10 to 12-inch skillet over
medium-low heat, melt butter. Add garlic and cook, stirring
constantly, 1 minute until golden. Add chili powder, cumin,
salt and onion powder. Cook, stirring frequently 2 to 3
minutes. Add pepper, oregano and turkey. Increase heat to
medium. Cook turkey, stirring frequently about 5 minutes.
Stir in taco sauce; simmer 5 minutes. Fill taco shells with
mixture and garnish with cheese, tomato, lettuce and taco
sauce.
