DEER JERKY

1 1/2 to 2 lb. deer meat
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. hickory smoked salt

Cut deer meat 1/4 to 1/2 inches thick (strips). Combine
all other ingredients and marinate deer meat, tightly covered,
in refrigerator for at least 5 hours. Stir or shake often.
Set temperature on oven at lowest setting. Place toothpick
between the top of each piece of meat and hang close together
on oven rack. Meat should dry in 4 to 6 hours. Check often.
