SEAFOOD MARINARA WITH PASTA|
8 oz. cleaned shrimp
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 can (3 oz.) tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
Cook onion, green pepper and garlic in hot oil, until
tender. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, water and seasoning.
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add
shrimp; cover and simmer for approximately 3 minutes longer or
until shrimp is tender. Serve over cooked pasta. Makes 2
servings. (Scallops are also good in this recipe.)
