HAM STEAK, HAWAIIAN STYLE

slice leftover ham, 1 inch
thick
prepared mustard
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 can sliced pineapple
whole cloves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut gashes in the fat around the
ham steak to prevent curling. Place ham into a greased shallow
baking dish, spread the mustard, sprinkle with brown sugar and
pour the syrup of pineapple over all. Stick with cloves. Bake
about 1/2 hour or until brown, basting with juices. Lay 6
slices of pineapple over the ham, and continue baking 15
minutes longer. Serves 4.
