2 lb. round or Swiss steak
salt and pepper to taste
1 large onion, sliced thin
1 can tomatoes

Cut steak into serving pieces. Season with salt and
pepper and place in crock-pot with sliced onion. Pour tomatoes
over all. Cover and simmer on low for 8 to 10 hours.

substituting 1 can mushroom or celery soup for tomatoes.
Spread soup evenly over top. Cover and set to low for 8 to 10
