SHRIMP SPAGHETTI

1 stick butter (1/2 c.) or
good quality margarine
4 oz. chopped or sliced
mushrooms
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 tsp. m.s.g. or Accent
1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled and
deveined
1/2 lb. spaghetti pasta
Parmesan cheese

Prepare spaghetti pasta according to package directions.
While pasta is boiling, melt butter in large skillet over
medium-low heat. Add garlic, shrimp, mushrooms and Accent.
Cook only until shrimp is pink. (If shrimp is frozen, thaw and
drain well or it will make butter watery.) Drain pasta well and
put in skillet with shrimp butter sauce. Turn with large
spatula to coat all pasta and mix shrimp and mushrooms. Serve
immediately. Pass Parmesan cheese.
Note: May use lump crab meat or fresh scallops. Ideal
for special family birthday with green salad, French bread and
a light dessert. Good for a small group; too expensive for
large group.
