LOW CHOLESTEROL SALMON BURGERS|
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon,
drained, deboned and flaked
1 egg white
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. green pepper
1/2 c. whole wheat bread
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1/2 tsp. crushed rosemary
1/8 tsp. pepper
Mix ingredients well. Keep mixture dry as possible so
burgers will stay together while cooking. Form into 4 or 5
patties. Panfry in small amount of vegetable oil until lightly
brown or grill on barbecue. Can squeeze lemon juice over
burgers while grilling. Serve on whole wheat toasted bun with
tomato. Serves 4 or 5.
