MOIST MEAT LOAF|
1 or 2 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. bread crumbs
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
3 Tbsp. vinegar
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg,
salt and pepper with 1/2 can of tomato sauce. Form into a
loaf. Combine other ingredients for sauce. Pour over meat
loaf. Baste as it cooks using a long tined fork to pierce a
few times. (This lets the sauce seep into the meat loaf.) Bake
at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
