BEER BREAD

3 c. self-rising flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 can light or regular beer
(must be room temperature)

Place ingredients in a large bowl; stir together. (It
will be sticky and lumpy.) Spoon into one well-greased loaf pan
and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven; brush top with
melted butter while loaf is still hot. Cool on rack. Makes a
heavy, coarse bread.
