BAR-B-QUE BEANS

3 to 4 cans (15 or 16 oz.)
pork and beans
1/3 to 1/2 c. brown sugar or
syrup
1/3 to 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
(add to taste)
1/4 c. ketchup
1 tsp. mustard
6 to 8 slices bacon, cut into
fourths
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
(optional)
1/2 c. chopped onion or
equivalent of onion powder
(optional)

Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam. Mix beans, brown sugar,
ketchup and mustard in pan. Stir well. Add barbecue sauce to
taste. Add optional ingredients. Mix very well. Cover top of
bean mixture with bacon. Bake in a 350 degrees oven about 1 hour.
Bacon will crisp when beans are done.
