CHEESE TOPPED VEGETABLES

1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 pkg. frozen broccoli spears
water
salt
dash of ground black pepper
6 slices bacon, cooked
6 slices Monterey Jack cheese

Cook vegetables in salted water according to package
directions; drain. Place vegetables in lightly greased shallow
baking dish. Sprinkle with pepper. Arrange bacon slices over
vegetables and cheese slices over the bacon. Bake at 350 degrees
until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
