YELLOW SQUASH/ONION SAUTE

4 to 6 medium squash
1 large onion, sliced
1/4 c. margarine
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Wash and slice yellow squash crosswise in circles.
Slice onion in rings. In skillet put margarine and heat. Add
sliced onion and squash, salt and pepper. Saute, turning
carefully with pancake turner. When squash is browned lightly,
sprinkle on garlic powder and carefully turn until mixed in.
Time usually takes about 20 to 25 minutes to prepare. Do not
add water. Serves 4 or 5.
