POTATOES AU GRATIN|
5 medium-sized potatoes
Medium Cream For Potatoes Au Gratin:
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. milk (a little at a time)
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
grated cheese to taste
Slice about 5 medium potatoes. Boil potatoes until
done. Melt butter over low heat in a heavy saucepan (wooden
spoon for stirring is a help). Blend in flavoring and other
seasoning. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is
smooth and bubbly. Pour creamed mixture over potatoes. Cook
30 minutes at 350 degrees.
